Why only AJ4

Most rep sites carry 5,000+ SKUs across every Nike, Adidas, and New Balance model in production. The problem with that model isn't the sourcing — it's the QC. If a seller lists 5,000 SKUs, they can't actually inspect every batch. They're relaying photos from factories and hoping.

We picked one model and one factory network. That means when a Cave Stone batch comes off the line, someone on our team physically inspects the pair before it goes into stock. We reject batches that pill at the toe, that have print misalignment, or that ship with off-tone midsoles. That's the whole job.

How we work

Every order goes through the same 5-step flow described in how to order. Every pair gets QC photos and video before shipping. Every shipment goes DHL/UPS/FedEx with tracking within 48 hours. If a pair doesn't match the QC photos we sent, we replace it at our cost — that's the guarantee.

What we've shipped so far

Since 2020 we've shipped roughly 20,000+ pairs to 40+ countries. Repeat customers make up around 40% of monthly volume — mostly resellers running local IG shops in the US, UK, Germany, Netherlands, and Mexico who buy 10–50 pairs per month.

These numbers are estimates from our internal order log — we don't have a Trustpilot page (rep sites don't survive on public review platforms), and we won't fabricate a rating we can't prove. If you want references from repeat buyers, we can put you in touch on WhatsApp.

What we don't do

• Sell anything other than AJ4 (no AJ1, AJ11, Yeezys, whatever — different silhouettes need different QC)
• Ship without buyer-approved QC photos
• Take payment on out-of-stock sizes without disclosing first
• Fabricate reviews or fake customer photos
• Use paparazzi photos or licensed celebrity images on the site

The team

Small buying team based in Putian. WhatsApp is monitored during US morning hours and again during EU evenings — response time is usually under 30 minutes during those windows and under 6 hours off-hours.

All Nike, Jordan, and Air Jordan trademarks belong to their respective owners. This site describes goods as "reps" openly — we don't misrepresent goods as authentic Nike product.

Who we are — the AJReps buying team

We're a Putian-based sourcing team focused exclusively on the Air Jordan 4 silhouette. Started in 2020 as a small operation servicing the r/RepSneakers community with QC-photo commitments before shipping. By 2022 we'd shipped 5,000+ pairs. By late 2025, over 20,000 pairs total.

Team size stays intentionally small — currently 6 people across sourcing, QC, and customer communication. We're not a marketplace, we're not a middleman for random factories. We have direct relationships with three Putian factory workshops that produce our G5 tier, plus a handful of mid-tier factories for OG/PK sourcing when customers request lower tiers via WhatsApp.

Why we focus only on Jordan 4

Every rep sourcing operation has to choose depth or breadth. Wide operations (all Jordans, all Adidas, all Nike SB) serve everyone but nobody exceptionally. We chose depth: AJ4 only, 19 colorways in stock, every colorway understood at the factory-tooling level.

Practical benefit for customers: when you WhatsApp us about Cave Stone vs Iced Carmine, you're not getting a generic "yes we have it" — you're getting factory-specific batch notes ("current Cave Stone batch has slightly warmer nubuck tone than Sep 2025 SNKRS reference, will match a Fear Pack pair in tone"). That level of detail is only possible when you specialize.

How we source and verify batches

Every G5 batch we accept goes through three verification steps:

1. Factory sample review — before committing to a production run, the workshop sends us a sample pair. We compare against retail reference photos from SNKRS and StockX authenticated pairs. If material grade, silhouette, or details fall below spec, we reject the batch.
2. Physical QC per pair — every pair we sell is photographed in our warehouse before dispatch. 4-6 photos plus 15-second video. Any pair with visible defects (glue seepage, misaligned stitching, wrong colorway tone, warped silhouette) doesn't ship.
3. Customer QC approval — we send the QC photos and video to the customer via WhatsApp before payment finalization or shipping. Customer either approves and we ship, or requests a swap and we source another pair from stock. No cost for swaps.

This three-step process is why we can promise the 14-day defect guarantee. Anything visible in QC is disclosed. Anything wrong that isn't in QC is our responsibility.

Data sourcing — how we know retail prices and release dates

The colorway pages on this site cite retail prices, release dates, style codes, and StockX aftermarket values. Where does that data come from?

• Jordan Brand SNKRS — official retail price and release date. Primary source for confirmed drops.
• StockX — aftermarket price data (30-day average, all-time high). We check monthly and update when we see 15%+ moves.
• Sole Retriever / Sneaker News — early leaks, unofficial photos, secondary confirmation on upcoming drops.
• Physical inspection of pairs at our warehouse — style codes verified against actual box labels, not third-party listings.

If you catch a factual error on any colorway page (wrong style code, wrong retail price, wrong release date), WhatsApp us. We appreciate the correction and update within 24 hours.

What we don't do

We're upfront about what we're not:

• Not a retail Nike / Jordan Brand reseller. Every pair is unofficial market goods (rep). We describe them as such on the site, in WhatsApp messages, and to customs. Anyone selling reps as authentic Nike is committing trademark fraud, we don't do that.
• Not a large-catalog dropshipper. We stock 19 AJ4 colorways. We don't source AJ1, Dunks, Yeezys, or apparel. If you want those, other sellers cover them well.
• Not a marketplace / seller platform. Every order goes through us directly. We don't have multiple sellers or vendors — one warehouse, one QC team, one shipping operation.
• Not the cheapest option in the market. Entry-tier DHgate sellers price 3-4x cheaper than our G5 tier. That's the honest tradeoff — cheaper reps exist and serve their use cases; we serve the buyer who wants construction quality.

The rep community context we work in

The Jordan 4 rep community has organized around a few institutions: r/RepSneakers (200k+ members, active QC discussions), various Discord servers, Reddit rep community wiki, sneaker-specific rep review YouTube channels. Our sourcing has been shaped by community feedback — batches that fail community QC standards get dropped from our factory network. Batches that pass become our default G5 sourcing.

We don't post on Reddit or Discord ourselves (self-promo is against community norms). We just supply, ship, and let the community talk. If you want community sentiment on any batch we source, r/RepSneakers is the reference.

Contact and communication

Every inbound and outbound communication happens on WhatsApp. Not email, not Instagram DMs, not our own site chat. Reasons: WhatsApp has end-to-end encryption (better privacy for gray-market discussion), works across all our shipping regions without carrier issues, and lets us send QC photos and video efficiently. Response time is 30-60 minutes during US morning hours (Putian evening), 2-6 hours worldwide.

If WhatsApp is blocked in your region (Russia, some Middle East countries), we can arrange Telegram as a backup. WhatsApp remains the primary though.
