Speckle density on the midsole. This is the whole point of the shoe. Cheap batches skip the speckling entirely and use plain white midsoles — that's an immediate visual give-away from six feet away. Better batches replicate the density but skip the depth (speckles are printed on, not embedded in the rubber).
Top-tier reps ($150 (G5 tier) tier) use factories that source speckled rubber compounds — the speckles are inside the midsole material, not surface printed. Ask for a close-up of the midsole side profile on QC photos.
